Livestock Zakat Calculator
Apply arithmetic to a livestock rule that you have independently verified.
Methodology
For livestock-specific treatment, you supply the applicable threshold and due quantity after obtaining qualified guidance. Trade-stock treatment does not use livestock-count logic and instead directs you to valuation-based business guidance.
What is included
- An animal count and livestock context entered by you.
- A threshold and due quantity that you have verified independently.
- An optional value per due animal for arithmetic illustration.
What is excluded
- Automatic animal thresholds, count brackets, ages, conditions, breeds, or offspring treatment.
- Veterinary assessment, market-price APIs, regional rules, and government registration.
- Animals held for trade, which may require business inventory-value treatment instead.
Worked example
Arithmetic example using a user-supplied rule: 60 animals, an entered threshold of 40, and an entered due quantity of 1 animal produces an estimate of 1 animal. At an entered value of $250 per due animal, the equivalent is $250. This example does not define the correct religious obligation.
Sources, assumptions, and limitations
The repository contains no approved livestock bracket or age table, so none is used. Review the methodology, sources policy, and disclaimer. Confirm the applicable treatment with a qualified scholar or trusted local authority.
