Agricultural Zakat Calculator
Estimate produce due using a harvest quantity, threshold, and rate that you explicitly enter.
Methodology
The calculator compares harvest quantity with your threshold in the same selected unit. At or above that threshold, it multiplies the harvest by your entered rate. Hawl and the site's standard 2.5% asset rate are not used.
What is included
- Eligible harvested produce measured in a supported weight unit.
- A threshold and calculation rate obtained and entered by you.
- An optional market price for an equivalent-value estimate.
What is excluded
- Agricultural land market value.
- Equipment, machinery, buildings, and government or tax rules.
- Automatic crop classification, Nisab thresholds, irrigation rulings, and production-cost deductions.
Worked example
For demonstration only: 2,000 kg against a user-entered 650 kg threshold at an explicitly entered 5% rate gives 100 kg. At an entered price of $2 per kg, the equivalent is $200. These are illustrative assumptions, not a universal threshold or rate.
Assumptions and limitations
- Rules may differ according to crop, irrigation, local measurement, costs, local practice, and scholarly methodology.
- Produce held as business inventory may require different treatment.
- Mixed irrigation, threshold conversions, and cost deductions should be confirmed with qualified guidance.
Review the methodology, sources policy, and disclaimer. Confirm the applicable treatment with a qualified scholar or trusted local authority.
