Corrections Policy

We aim to correct confirmed errors clearly and in proportion to their effect on users.

Corrections may cover factual statements, calculations, labels, dates, citations, links, metadata, accessibility, or wording that creates a misleading impression.

Use the contact page and include the page URL, the statement or behavior at issue, what you believe is wrong, and any supporting reference or reproduction steps.

Reports are checked against the page, calculator behavior, available source material, and relevant context. Submissions are not assumed correct solely because they were received.

Spelling, grammar, formatting, and broken-link fixes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a prominent notice.

A correction that changes a substantive claim, conclusion, user decision, or interpretation should be disclosed near the affected content when practical.

Suspected formula, input, rounding, or result errors receive priority because they may affect estimates. Testing should reproduce the issue and verify that any fix does not create a different calculation error.

Incorrect prices, rates, units, providers, or timestamps should be corrected with their applicable date and source context. Delayed data must not be relabeled as real-time.

Reports involving religious content are evaluated for accurate attribution, neutral description, disclosed differences, and the boundary between education and personal religious guidance. The site does not adjudicate between schools of thought.

Where a notice is appropriate, it should identify what changed and why without obscuring the original significance of the error.

Content may be archived or removed when correction would not adequately prevent confusion. Redirects or explanatory notices may be used where appropriate.

Reports are reviewed according to risk, evidence, and operational capacity. The site does not promise a fixed response time, but material calculator or safety concerns should be prioritized.
